CONCEPT

For centuries now, the Mont Saint Michel stands in the middle of an immense bay at the heart of the largest tides in Europe. It is a symbol of resistance to damages with the passing of time. This site, which is listed as part of Unesco world heritage since 1979 attracts each year nearly 2.5 million tourists. The Mont Saint Michel is the third French cultural site most visited, after Versailles and the Eiffel Tower. More than a simple granite rock, it reflects the architectural genius of its construction.

This documentary on what we call “the Wonder of the West” is full of exceptional views of the Mount and around Normandy, interviews with historians, scientists and architects, and 3D creations of the monument which have been reconstituted over the last few centuries.
