CONCEPT

For several months, the production team gave the filmmaker, his friends, the actors, and his family the floor to look back together at the films that marked his life: The Murderous Summer, Children of the Marais, Two Days to Kill. What do his films say about him? The son of Jacques Becker, he had to build himself under the weight of an imposing cinematic legacy, while forging his own identity. For the first time, for the duration of a documentary, the camera changes direction to film, in an intimate setting, the man who was behind it for 70 years.
